where to start
To begin with, I wanted to create a website to acquire new skills and empower a new technology. I faced challenges in selecting the right stack since I was familiar with React, Python, and JavaScript. However, I wanted to learn something new while building this static site. I embarked on this journey to figure out how to launch and host this content dynamically, enabling me to write in Notion while having the content display on my GitHub page. It was an ideal plan, but the problem was executing it. I had intended to do this when I first started my new role, but I couldn’t make it happen. Then, I came across a quote that resonated with me.
above all else trust the slow work of God
This quote struck a chord with me. How could I trust God when I couldn’t complete my own passion project? I kept my head down in my work, focusing more on the outcomes I was producing. It was a frustrating time to be thrust into new challenges in isolation, expecting some sort of outcome at the end of the tunnel. Ultimately, what I want to say is that I must trust in His process and use the tools He has blessed me with to help others around me.
